Marketplace Terms
M1. Marketplace Platform
Stoar Pharmacy operates as a marketplace operator connecting AHPRA-verified pharmacy sellers with buyers. All sales are conducted by independent pharmacy sellers; Stoar Pharmacy is not the seller of record for marketplace products. Invoices are issued by the platform as marketplace operator on behalf of sellers.
M2. Seller Obligations
Sellers must hold a current AHPRA registration and Australian Business Number (ABN). Sellers are responsible for ensuring all products comply with the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 (Cth), relevant state pharmacy legislation, and all applicable advertising codes. Sellers may only list Schedule 2 (S2) and Schedule 3 (S3) pharmacy medicines on the platform. Schedule 4 (S4) prescription medicines and Schedule 8 (S8) controlled drugs are prohibited.
M3. Buyer Obligations
Buyers acknowledge that Schedule 3 (S3) medicines require a pharmacist consultation. By purchasing S3 products, buyers confirm they have received appropriate pharmacist advice. S4 prescription items require a valid prescription. Buyers must not resell any medicines purchased on this platform.
M4. Escrow & Payment
All marketplace payments are held in escrow by Stoar Pharmacy until the buyer confirms receipt or 72 hours after delivery confirmation, whichever occurs first. The platform charges a 5% platform fee on all transactions. This fee is deducted from the seller payout. Stripe Connect is used to facilitate payments; by transacting on the marketplace, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
M5. TGA Compliance & Liability
The platform does not endorse or warrant the quality, safety, or efficacy of any medicine listed by sellers. The platform is not liable for adverse effects arising from the purchase or use of medicines listed on the marketplace. Buyers rely on seller representations and their own medical advice.
M6. Disputes
Buyers may raise a dispute within 14 days of delivery confirmation. The platform will mediate disputes and may release or refund escrow at its discretion. The platform's decision on disputes is final.
